Get your journalism endorsement through Northwest College in less than a year.

Approved by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards board, the program allows you to obtain a journalism endorsement on your teaching certificate. Two classes are offered online, allowing you to work at your convenience. The third course is offered in conjunction with the summer Journalism Jump Start program in mid-June each year. Online classes now offered

The Northwest College journalism department is currently offering online classes in Reporting and Newswriting in the spring semester as well as Introduction to Mass Media in the fall semester. Both are offered as part of a three-course program to provide a journalism endorsement to Wyoming secondary school teachers.
